Narangba

There are many things to do in Narangba, especially for families. Located in the Moreton Bay Region, Narangba and Burpengary are two suburbs with rural origins that have been redeveloped as residential areas.

Rolling hills and paddocks, as well as bushland, lakes, and creeks still preside over much of the landscape. Well known for being a great place to raise a family, Narangba and Burpengary are growing communities with affordable homes and easy access to both Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast through the Bruce Highway and the nearby train line. The Narangba Train Station has recently received a refurbishment, with the new station now serving as a staging point for express trains both to and from the city, catering to the new executive class that calls the Narangba area home.

Narangba is part of the central Moreton Bay region, which also includes the nearby suburbs of Morayfield, North Lakes, Dakabin, Deception Bay, and Kallangur. In Narangba itself, a community shopping village exists on Main Street along with Forrest Ridge, which boasts a Woolworths, bakery, two 24 hour gyms, many fast food options, and the always appealing Narangba Tavern.

For a more diverse shopping experience, the nearby suburb of North Lakes offers Westfield North Lakes, Costco, IKEA and hundreds of specialty shops, most of the major department stores, and a vibrant restaurant and café precinct. A cinema and additional dining options are coming soon.

For a more relaxed vibe, Morayfield Shopping Centre some 15 minutes away, offers hundreds of specialty shops, a diverse Food Hall and a Birch Carroll and Coyle cinema complex. All of your shopping needs are catered for in the Narangba region, so you’re sure to find a bargain!
